Have I ever mentioned how much I love historical novels?
Hey
guys, did you know that after the book was published in 1997 the author was
sued by a Mineko Awasaki (a retired Geisha) he had interviewed for background
information and to whom he had promised to keep unmentioned on the book? Well,
as you know, it is forbidden for a Geisha to speak about their clients and
traditions by some kind of silence code they have.
